The NCCE Computing Quality Framework for Schools
The National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) Computing Quality Framework is is designed to help schools develop exemplary computing provision. It guides schools through eight benchmarks that define high-quality practice. By using the CQF reporting tools and accessing NCCE’s support and resources, schools can create a clear action plan for improvement, working towards accreditation with the Computing Quality Mark.
The development of the framework was funded by the DfE .
The framework provides:
A process for identifying strengths and areas for development
Links to resources and support, from NCCE and others, targeted on your school’s specific needs.
Opportunities for commitment and involvement from across the school.
A continuum for schools to discuss how they might move from a basic level of provision for computing to practice that is aspirational and innovative.
